Introduction
This document sets forth the privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") of DataFire Technologies Inc ("DataFire Technologies", "we", "our" or "us") for services provided directly and indirectly by DataFire Technologies Inc (the "Services"), DataFire Technologies Inc Software (together with all prior and subsequent versions, and all patches and updates thereto, the "Software") and the DataFire Technologies Inc Web site, www.datafire.com (including all subpages thereto, the "Site").
Information we collect
We collect information about you in a number of ways when you use our Site and Software. We use this information to provide functionality and improve the quality of our Site and Software. In some cases we share this information with ("Third Party Services") in order to provide additional services such as payment processing or web site traffic analytics (see "Data Sharing with Third Parties").
When you visit our Site, some information is automatically collected, such as your computer operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type and language, and the website you visited before visiting our Site (see "Log Files and Backups"). We also collect information about how you use our site using cookies (see "Cookies").
When you make a purchase at our Site, we may collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and billing information. This information is shared with our merchant payment processor (see "Data Sharing with Thrid Parties").
When you use our Software, we may collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address, computer operating system, language, and a unique ID generated by our Software. We use this information for both statistical analysis of Software installation, and for license services of the Software.
When you use our Software which provides location based functionality or services, we may collect and provide to ("Third Party Services") your precise location data.
Cookies
We use Cookies on this Site. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer's web browser while you are viewing a website. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience. Persistent Cookies can be removed or blocked by following the help file directions in your Internet browser. If you elect to block Cookies, you may not be able to access certain personalized sections of our Site.
Log Files and Backups
Like most Internet services, we use log files to track incoming requests to the Site. The data held in log files includes your IP address, browser type, referring/exit Web pages, computer platform type, date/time stamp, and user activity. Our Site uses server log data to analyze trends, administer the Services and the Site, and improve service levels. Log file information is rotated and eventually removed and never retained longer than 12 months.
The Software has associated log files that are stored on your local hard drive. These files include the date/time stamp, activty area, and the action taken. We do not collect or transmit any of this log information unless otherwise requested from you in a technical support request or submission.
We create backups of the ("Information we collect") and store this data in secure offline storage. We retain ownership of the offline storage and we do not share this with any ("Third Party Services"). These backups are rotated and eventually removed and never retained longer than 12 months.

The Site and the Software may contain links to Web sites other than the Site. Please be aware that DataFire Technologies INC is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other Web sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave the Site or link to other sites, to read the privacy policies of each and every site that collects personally identifiable information.
How We Disclose Your Information
We never sell or rent your data to anyone. We have limited data sharing with third parties which are described in this section.
When purchases are made on the Site, the processing is done through Stripe as a credit card processing company. This business partner provides their own privacy policy and follows strict measures to protect your data.
When requests are made to the Site, traffic information is sent to Google for traffic analysis and for advertising.
Your Data Protection Rights
On occasion we may send you marketing related emails. You may opt-out via the unsubscribe link included in such emails. If you would like to view or update your account data that you have supplied to us, you may do so under the My Account area of the Site. At any time you can close your account under the My Account area of the Site.
You have the right to request the removal of the ("Information we collect") in certain circumstances provided by law

To have your data deleted, send us a delete request using the Contact Us webform. This will result in the removal of your account and loss of any purchased product licenses.
Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect or maintain Personal Information from individuals who are under 13 years of age. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. If we obtain knowledge that a user is under the age of 13, we will take steps to remove that user's Personal Information from our databases.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. If we change the Privacy Policy, we will post the new Privacy Policy on the Site with a link from the Site's homepage, so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances-if any-we disclose it.
